The concrete aprons are located on the east and west sides of the existing municipal building. The apron on the east side of the building is 40' x 100' and the apron on the west side is 30' x 100'. Concrete aprons shall be 8" thick concrete with steel reinforcing. The specific requirements for bidding and construction are described in the Contract Documents and Specifications available to all Bidders. All Bids must be submitted on Bid Proposal Forms furnished by the Owner. Consideration for awarding the contract will be at the meeting of the Wind Gap Borough Council at 7:00 p.m., September 8, 2020. A ten (10) percent Bid Security is required to be enclosed with the Bid Proposal in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents. The Borough reserves the right to reject any and all Bid Proposals for any reasons, and to waive any informality in any Bid Proposal and to increase, decrease or delete any item or items. Within ten (10) days after the Contract has been awarded, the successful Bidder shall furnish to the Borough the Bonds and Insurance Certificates required by the Contract Documents, guaranteeing the performance of the Contract. Prevailing Wages must be paid on the project in accordance with the Act No. 422 of 1961, as amended. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid Proposal within ninety (90) days after the date of the Bid Opening.
