North Middlesex Regional School District, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from General Contractors for Project #FY21-723 Maintenance Garage Renovations, Phase 3 - Wood Framed Construction for North Middlesex Regional School District in Townsend, Massachusetts, in accordance with the Bid Documents prepared by LaBombard Engineering and the Awarding Authority. The scope of the Base Bid work, without limiting the generality thereof, shall consist of furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, plants, and supervision to provide: woodframed construction of a 32' x 40' vehicular garage on existing concrete foundation kneewalls, including wall framing with 4 door rough openings and exterior wall sheathing, roof trusses, roof sheathing, gable end vent louvers, and any other Base Bid work as described in the Drawings and Specifications. Doors, door hardware, door brickmold, electrical work and plumbing work is by Owner. The garage is unfinished on the inside. The scope of the Add Alternate #1 work, without limiting the generality thereof, shall consist of furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, plants, and supervision to provide: roof drip edge and boot VTR flashing, roof underlayment, asphalt shingle roofing, ridge vent, brake metal eave trim, rake trim and overhead door jamb and head encasement, and vinyl soffit and rake enclosure and J-strip, ready for vinyl siding. The scope of the Add Alternate #2 work, without limiting the generality thereof, shall consist of furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, plants, and supervision to provide: vinyl siding, corner and edge trim. NTP is expected to issue on September 17, 2020 +/- Work starts on site: September 21, 2020 Substantial Completion: October 23, 2020 Final Acceptance: October 30, 2020 Questions and RFIs must be submitted in writing to the OPM at hmessing@nmrsd.org , and are due no later than 12:00 Noon on August 28, 2020.
