For RFQ Contractor - East-West Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Station Construction and Intersection Reconstruction The purpose of this notice is to inform contractors that the Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for East-West Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Station Construction and Intersection Reconstruction. The work under this contract shall consist of removals, concrete pavement, grading, base course, pavement markings, concrete curb & gutter, sidewalk storm sewer, permanent signing, street lighting, structures, station amenities, and all incidental items necessary to complete the work as shown on the plans. Preliminary Timeline Proposed RFQ submission date: October 30, 2020 Advertisement for RFP: December 21, 2020 Proposed RFP submission date: February 24, 2021 The work under this contract shall consist of removals, concrete pavement, grading, base course, pavement markings, concrete curb & gutter, sidewalk, storm sewer, permanent signing, street lighting, structures, station amenities, and all incidental items necessary to complete the work as shown on the plans and included in the proposal and contract.
