Construction access shall be from approximately 2525-2545 County Road 3350 N, Penfield, IL The Champaign County Forest Preserve District is seeking proposals to install a water control structure within the channel exiting the Point Pleasant wetland at Middle Fork River Forest Preserve in Champaign County, IL. All construction materials and systems shall be in accordance with applicable federal, state, local building and safety codes. Construction materials described in the Engineering Plans and not called out in the Bid Form will be supplied by the Owner and available at the project staging area noted in the Area of Work Map. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a Contract Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract amount. Contract time: The Contract deadline for completion of the Point Pleasant Water Control Structure is December 31st, 2020. The Board of Commissioners of the Champaign County Forest Preserve District reserves the right to reject any, part of any, or all proposals, to waive any informality or irregularity in the proposals or the proposal process, to accept any proposals which it deems most favorable, and to continue letting from time to time as deemed necessary.
