For Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Upgrades Project For the City of Nederland, Texas, WWTP Upgrades Project, generally described as miscellaneous upgrades to the existing wastewater treatment plant, including ultraviolet disinfection system upgrades, replacement of clarifier weirs, baffles, and suction header, and expansion of the existing lift station MCC building. The right is reserved by the City of Nederland, Texas, as its interest may require, to accept or reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in the bids received. Bid Security, only in the form of: 1) a certified or cashier's check drawn on a Texas bank and made payable to the City of Nederland, Texas; or 2) a bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in Texas, in the amount of not less than five (5%) percent of the total bid, must accompany each bid at the time it is submitted. Bid security in the form of a cashier's check cannot be accepted electronically and must be submitted in a sealed envelope, properly labeled, to the City Secretary, 207 N 12 th St, Nederland, TX 77627, before the bid deadline. Bids may be held by the City of Nederland, Texas for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidders qualifications prior to the contract award.
