Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, design is estimated to be completed in January of 2023. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City and Borough of Wrangell, Alaska is seeking Statements of Qualifications from experienced engineering firms for the Water Treatment Plant Improvements Design project. The engineering firm will provide engineering design and permitting, along with construction administration and inspection, of a Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) water treatment project. As of October 8, 2021, the engineering design was 95% complete. The tentative bid schedule for contractors has not been released. The ADEC Approval to Construct must be received prior to the beginning of the construction solicitations. *Project information, including timeline and contacts, has been obtained through public sources.
