The Regents of the University of California, on behalf of its Davis campus' Utilities department (University) would like to establish a multi-year Agreement with a qualified Contractor(s) (Contractor), for Grease Interceptor Cleaning Services at specific locations within the University of California, Davis campus. The University invites Contractors to submit a quote to provide this service. Any Agreement resulting from this request will be established for a period of one (1) year with the option to renew for four (4) additional one (1) year periods. The University may elect to run an RFQ after the initial one (1) year period. Continuation of the Agreement during this in-between period will be mutually agreed on by both parties. In the event that a mutual agreement cannot be reached, either party may give the other party a thirty (30) day notice of the intent to terminate the Agreement. During the thirty (30) day notice period, there can be no changes in pricing for product lists that are in effect at the time, and Contractor shall honor any and all service requests received prior to the completion of the thirty (30) day notice period. Proposals meeting mandatory requirements will be considered Responsive Proposals and will be reviewed and scored by an evaluation committee, against the submitted Cost Proposals. The committee may, at its sole discretion, review references, request oral presentations and use the results in scoring the proposals. Responsive Proposals will be evaluated using a Lowest Cost method. Bids submitted under this RFQ will be valid for ninety (90) days from the date that the bid closes. The University reserves the right to reject all proposals and to make no award. Unless stated otherwise in this RFQ, the University reserves the right to make multiple awards or to award items separately or in the aggregate as the interests of University may appear.
