Scope of Work : PART-1 of a two Part Project _ Williams T3 Node Backbone Fiber. The project includes extending the U of U Campus network from existing Node at the Fort Building and Park Building to the Williams Building located in Research Park at 295 S Chipeta Way. Scope of work to include but not limited to Fiber-OFCI, Terminations-CFCI, Splice kits-CFCI, Fiber patch panels-CFCI, and Testing-CFCI. Bids will be in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared by University of Utah and Spectrum Engineers., hereinafter referred to as A/E as defined in the General Conditions. Q & A deadline: May 26, 2021 6:00:00 PM EDT The Bid Bond in the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the above bid sum, shall become the property of the University of Utah as liquidated damages for delay and additional expense caused thereby in the event that the contract is not executed and/or acceptable 100% Performance and Payment Bonds are not delivered within the time set forth. Upon issuance of the Notice of Intent to the selected bidder (a letter to the Contractor issued by U Facilities) and the official Contract (Contractor's Agreement), the undersigned agrees to return the original signed Contract, and deliver acceptable Performance and Payment bonds in the prescribed form in the amount of 100% of the Contract Sum for faithful performance of the Contract, and deliver an acceptable Certificate of Insurance, all within ten (10) calendar days of the date on the Notice of Intent, unless a shorter time is specified in the Contract Documents.
