Renovation of an educational facility in Los Angeles, California. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and educational facility.
UCLA requests a written response to this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to select an Executive Architect for the proposed UCLA Gayley Center Seismic Correction (Project #908714.01). The building, located in the heart of Westwood Village. Construction costs could be in the range of $1.5 to $2 million depending on the agreed-upon scope of work and sequencing of the schedule for occupied spaces. As applicable, and based on the specific scope of work required, the design shall comply with the University of California Policy on Sustainable Practices to target a minimum of LEEDTM Silver rating. Every effort will be made to ensure that all persons have equal access to contracts and other business opportunities with the University within the limits imposed by law or University policy. Each Candidate Firm may be required to show evidence of its equal employment opportunity policy. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
