The remodeled space shall consolidate the primate housing and research functions into one location. The scope of Work shall include the following: selective demolition; the selective removal and replacement of the concrete slab to add additional plumbing drains; reconfiguration of room partitions; upgrade of lighting; reestablishment of existing utilities. Existing finishes shall be replaced, including doors, flooring, epoxy flooring, ceilings, casework, and signage. The Project shall replace existing non-functioning air control valves, effected ducts and diffusers. Electrical power systems shall be reconfigured to the new floor plan. Code-required upgrades to fire/life safety systems in the Project area and repairs to building finishes impacted by the Work are also included in the Project scope.
