The virtual site visit will be hosted by the University Project Manager and all participants are to remain logged on and attend the site visit in its entirety. The successful Bidder will be required to have the following California current and active contractor's license at the time of submission of the Bid: B License (General Building) To be allowed to submit a bid, Bidders must have the minimum experience set forth in the Prequalification Questionnaire contained in the Bidding Documents and posted on the UCLA Online Planroom website. Bidder's completed Prequalification Questionnaire must be uploaded to the UCLA Online Planroom website, no later than: 3:00 p.m., September 22, 2020 The project will reconfigure existing suite B265 to accommodate MRI simulator, CT simulator, and HDR (high-dose rate) imaging equipment used for patient treatment and medical research. Work includes the construction of new simulator and control rooms for the MRI and CT equipment; an HDR procedure room; equipment rooms; a hot lab; and related staff and patient support space. The new MRI and CT equipment will be procured by University and installed and tested, in B265, by the equipment manufacturer. The Contractor shall work with University and Equipment manufacturer for coordination of the installation. The Contractor shall provide structural support for the path of travel of the MRI. The contractor shall provide power connections and anchoring of the equipment. Specific work shall include demolition of improvements in the way of the proposed work; provision of equipment anchoring and framing; provision of foundation to support lead bricks, provision of utilities; provision of telephone data conduits, nurse's call system, and security system; modifications to building systems to support the program; provision of casework; and finishes.
