Site work and paving for a civil project in Wood River, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; and water / sewer project.

This project will include: Installation of two new box culverts Re-grading ditches along Walnut Street and Wood River Rd. Paving a 4 ft. wide ditch bottom along west side of Walnut St. Paving a 6 ft. wide ditch bottom along East side of Walnut St. and South side of Wood River Rd. This project incorporates all associated work as described in the Plans and Specifications which includes demolition, excavation, grading, construction and accessories to provide complete and finished structures tying into the surrounding areas. This project is being partially funded with Community Development Block Grant money and therefore Davis-Bacon wage rates and other grant requirements apply. All bids must be made on the Proposal Form, Section 00310, provided with the Plans and Specifications as prepared by W DESIGN ASSOCIATES, Consulting Engineers and Architects. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid amount, and shall be made payable to The City of Wood River as security as security that the bidder to whom the contract may be awarded will enter into contract to construct the project and give bond in the sum of the total contract amount for the construction of the project. Checks accompanying bids not accepted shall be returned to the bidders after a contract is awarded. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required for this project. No bid shall be withdrawn after opening the bids without the consent of the Owner for a period of 30 days. The Owner reserves the right to accept, reject or negotiate any or all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding. The location of the project starting from the intersection of these Walnut St and Wood River Rd stretches south along Walnut for approximately 900 feet, and east along Wood River Rd for approximately 1300 feet on the Northeast corner of Wood River.
