Renovation of a municipal facility in Shelbyville, Illinois. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of 9/25/2020, no bids were received and no plans of re-bidding as of yet. The repair and Improvement of the Street Department Salt Bay, S Hickory St, Shelbyville. All bids must use prevailing wage rates. The right is reserved to waive technicalities'and to reject any or all proposals. The work will entail the addition of concrete blocks, for the expansion of the storage capacity of the salt bunker and damage mitigation to the east wall of the storage shed. Scope of Work Item #1 Remove 25-foot by 4-foot by 7-inch concrete wall at the north end of the salt bunker. Item #2 Install 121 feet of 8-inch concrete block wall with #5 rebar, 5-foot-long, drilled into existing concrete wall, every 20-inches, vertically on center. Item #3 Remove 75 feet of existing tin siding on east side of the storage shed, crib support and structural beams and reset on new C.M.U. wall.
