This project will be a renovation of an existing structure built in 1975 for West Virginia University. Provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision for all electric related work as identified in the drawings and specifications All questions and clarifications are to be directed directly to MARCH-WESTIN at: mmcmillian@marchwestin.com. Cutoff for Questions: September 24, 2020 at 5:00 pm Liquidated Damages shall be One Thousand, Five Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00) per calendar day of delay in achieving Substantial Completion, not as a penalty, but a reasonable assessment of loss of use of the facility for its intended purpose. Lump sum award will be made to one subcontractor and it shall be the responsibility of that subcontractor to safely coordinate activities between disciplines. Please note that the bid documents are at the 95% Construction Documents (CD) stage and assumptions must be made in your bid to bring the design to 100% Construction Documents (CD). If major revisions to budget or design occur during this last design stage, we may require bids to be revised or entire package to be rebid. Submitted bids must be complete, including all material, labor, equipment, administrative labor (associated preconstruction meetings, special inspectors, submittals), disposal fees, bonding (as applicable), insurance, B&O tax, and sales tax. Scope is to include power distribution, lighting, low voltage, access control, and fire alarm. Scope includes furnishing dumpsters for, transportation of, and proper disposal of debris. This bid package must include all frames, glazing, and hardware for the storefront. Lump sum award will be made to one subcontractor and it shall be the responsibility of that subcontractor to safely coordinate activities between disciplines.
