Open 2/8/2024 1:30 PM EST Cutoff for Questions: Date: February 20, 2024 Time: 12:00 pm EST Building and Facility Construction and Maintenance Services West Virginia University ("WVU") is conducting an open solicitation for qualified contractors to provide labor, materials, and equipment required for the removal of existing roof related materials and systems and the providing of new replacement materials and systems as specified in the Project Manual and per WVU Construction Standards at the WVU Mountainlair, located at 1550 University Avenue, Morgantown WV 26506. Any discrepancies between the scope of work herein and industry standards shall be brought to WVU's attention prior to providing or installing the work. When conflicts between the two are found, the Contractor shall notify WVU immediately. The decision will be at WVU's discretion. Liquidated Damages shall be Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) per Calendar Day of delay in achieving Substantial Completion and Two Hundred and Fifty Hundred Dollars ($250.00) per Calendar Day of delay in achieving Final Completion. It is WVU's intent that all work described herein shall be completed in one activity during the allotted work period. Where it becomes necessary for the Contractor to work outside normal work hours to complete the scope of work in the contract time, (i.e., weekends, after-hours, etc.), the Contractor shall do so at no additional costs to WVU. Anticipated to Start May 13, 2024 Substantial Completion shall be June 30, 2024
