Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Morgantown, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.

Supplier will be responsible for the demolition, removal, and replacement of all exterior, high bay windows in the Milan Puskar Weight Room. The work will include the following responsibilities: a. Erect all safety barricades, b. Utilize fall protection, PPE, etc. as required. c. Remove all four side windows and dispose of window framing system and glass. d. Furnish and install new 2” x 4 ½” thermally broken aluminum framing with one (1) inch clear low E tempered insulated glass. e. Include brake metal trim to match framing at the sills where required. f. Install an aluminum finish that is to be clear or dark bronze anodized. g. Upon completion, coordinate as needed with separate roofing contractor. West Virginia University on behalf of its Board of Governors ("BOG") located in Morgantown, West Virginia ("WVU" or "University") is initiating this Request for Bids ("RFB") from qualified, experienced, and licensed Contractors for the replacement the exterior high bay windows of the Milan Puskar Weightroom located at 1 Rodgers Drive, Morgantown, WV 26505. Required Completed Documentation must be submitted under SUPPLIER ATTACHMENTS with Response (bid bond, drug-free affidavit, etc.). The following Bonds will be required with award: o Performance Bond o Labor and Material Bond Cutoff for Questions: Date: February 13, 2024 Time: 12:00 pm EST Questions MUST be submitted directly on the solicitation website on the Q&A Board. Liquidated Damages shall be Five Hundred Dollars ($500) per Calendar Day of delay in achieving Substantial Completion and Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($250) per Calendar Day of delay in achieving Final Completion.
