Summit County, as the project sponsor and in coordination with State, regional, and local entities, is requesting qualifications from skilled consultant firms to perform environmental analysis and record keeping that will fulfill National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) requirements for a proposed six-mile bus rapid transit project (the Project) on State Highway 224 (S.R. 224) from Kimball Junction to Park City, Utah, a city within County boundaries. The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) will be the lead Federal Agency for the project and this Environmental Review Process will be overseen by the FTA Office of Planning and Environment and Region 8 The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
