Renovation of a detention facility in Seattle, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
King County Correctional Facility (KCCF) Kitchen Hood Replacement 349097 The work includes demolition and removal of existing Type I rated kitchen hoods, fire protection equipment, exhaust fans, pollution control units, hood control panels, a shared MAU/supply fan and other system components to be replaced. Replacement equipment will conform to current codes, based on engineering drawings/specifications provided, and require preparation of shop drawings/fabrication of new equipment in sections that can fit through tight clearances with onsite assembly of the new equipment. In addition, associated controls, plumbing, connecting ductwork, insulation, fire protection and other elements of fully functional Type I fire rated, self-cleaning hoods and related fans and systems must be performed within the listed constraints, as well as patching and repairing any walls, ceilings or other surfaces removed or damaged during construction Bid Guaranty: Not less than five percent (5%) of the Total Bid Price.
