Furnish labor, materials and services necessary to remove snow and ice from sidewalks and driveways of Scattered Sites vacant units and vacant lots, located within the City of Milwaukee, for the duration of the 2020-2021 Season. Work shall include the city sidewalk of approximately 78 vacant lots. A list of Vacant Lots will be provided at time of award, and as needed from the Quality Assurance Office, Jeanne Dawson, 414-286-5405. Invoices for work done at vacant lots will be sent to jdawsohacm.org or 5125 W Lisbon Avenue, 53210. This contract will be effective November 1, 2020 through April 30, 2021, with the option to extend for an additional four one-year periods upon mutual consent of both parties. Work will be on an as-needed continuous basis to assure that all driveways and sidewalks are completely clear of all snow and/or ice. Work to be completed within 24 hours after the end of each period of precipitation. Work shall include the driveway, the city sidewalk and all sidewalks on the property, of approximately 48 vacant units. Contractor shall take all steps necessary to protect all property and persons from any damage or injury resulting from this work. Contractor shall employ sufficient, qualified and competent personnel to perform work promptly.
