Renovation of a water / sewer project in Groton, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The project consists of the removal and replacement of the wet well ventilation system for the Gravel Street Pump Station. Work includes installation of new ductwork, exhaust fan, dry scrubber, sound attenuation enclosure and all conduit, wiring, controls and supports required. Some minor roof repair is required. The Town of Groton reserves the right to waive any formalities or to reject any or all bids Each bidder must deposit, with his bid, security in the form of bid bond or certified check subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Town of Groton is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for opening of bids. Any bid received after the time and date specified will be returned unopened
