Renovation of a medical facility in Waupaca, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Widening an access tunnel to the new Moses building. Work will include removing an interior wall, smoke door and relocating piping. Mechanical and Electrical trades will be required. To maintain steam service to the central services building which serves kitchen and laundry, the following is required. The 4in HPS main thru the tunnel shall be kept active while the 6in HPS main is relocated. Provide a 4in bypass pipe from an existing 3in valve in the mechanical room above the tunnel. This bypass pipe shall be done on premium time as scheduled by the Owner. When the 6in line is tested, cleaned and ready, provide another shutdown on premium time to connect the 4in line in the tunnel at the riser. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin's prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements.
