Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

As of May 14, 2021, this project has been awarded to Jay Fulkroad & Sons, Inc. for $1,993,476.99. Project Location: Work Location No. 1 - Bridge No. 1 Superstructure Replacement,T-390 Fiddlers Elbow Road over Swatara Creek in Derry Township and Lower Swatara Township, Dauphin County, PA Work Location No. 2 - Bridge No. 56 Superstructure Replacement, T-702 Engle Road over Conewago Creek in Londonderry Township, Dauphin County and Covered Bridge Road over Conewago Creek in Conoy Township, Lancaster County, PA; also known as Lancaster County Conewago Bridge No. 1 The estimate is $2,300,000 - $2,700,000. The Project primarily consists of replacement of two superstructures and associated Work. Contractors bidding on this Project must be prequalified by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation as prime contractors in the S work category. Bid security in the form a Certified Check or Bid Bond shall be furnished with the bid in an amount not less than 10% of the bid amount and made payable to or naming as obligee Dauphin County Board of Commissioners. Dauphin County reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, informalities, to accept any bid or combination of bids that are deemed to be in the best interest of Dauphin County, and to reject anyorall proposals. Removal and replacement of the Dauphin County Bridge No. 1 superstructure having a length of approximately 309 feet, reconstruction of approximately 102 feet of associated roadway approach, and otherassociated Work in Dauphin County.Removal and replacement of the Dauphin County Bridge No. 56 superstructure having a length of approximately 77 feet, reconstruction of approximately 130 feet of associated roadway approach, and other associated Work in Dauphin and Lancaster Counties. The Work will be substantially completed on or before August 6, 2021, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before September 3, 2021.
