Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Shrewsbury Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Work includes the structural design, fabrication, storage, delivery, placement, and post-tensioning of a 5'-0" x 3'-0" x 23'-3" precast box culvert and precast wingwalls. Clarification Deadline 11/18/2020 5:00 Pm A bid bond by acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to the Shrewsbury Township Board of Supervisors in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid for each project must be provided by each bidder with their bid. The successful bidder, when awarded a contract, shall furnish Performance and Payment Bonds (with suitable surety), as specified in the Contracts. Bidders are required to be PennDOT prequalified, as specified in Publication 408, Section 102.01, and should be prepared to submit evidence of their qualifications to perform the work. Work to be completed on or before 05/31/2021 . After 05/31/2021 Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $ 500.00 per calendar day. The Shrewsbury Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept any bid or reject any or all bids.
