Sealed bids for the following: 30LB RIPRAP PerTON Riprap must meet specifications according to the State of Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development Standard Specifications for Roads and Bridges, Part VII Section 711. Riprap is to be delivered to and stockpiled at the following location: ASCENSION PARISH PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT 42077 Churchpoint Rd., Gonzales, LA 70737 Bids will be accepted on a price per ton basis only for a one year period from the date the bid is accepted by the Ascension Parish Council. The lowest responsive bidder, awarded the bid, must have a minimum of $300,000 General Liability Insurance and Work mens Compensation Insurance. A copy of the insurance must be sent to Ascension Parish Government Purchasing Office, 615 East Worthey Street, Gonzales, Louisiana 70737 prior to the vendor initial delivery of this material. The Ascension Parish Government shall not be responsible if the bidder cannot complete and submit a bid due to failure or incomplete delivery of the files submitted via the internet. The Parish of Ascension reserves the right to disqualify any Bid, response to a Request for Qualifications, or Request for Proposals if it is determined that the submitting business entity is not in good standing with the Louisiana Secretary of State or is not authorized to do business in the State of Louisiana. Ascension Parish Government reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause.
