Site work and addition to a theater / auditorium in Topeka, Kansas. Completed plans call for the addition of a 9,000-square-foot, one-story above grade theater / auditorium; and for site work for a theater / auditorium.
The project is a ground up new construction recital hall addition. The addition will connect to Garvey Hall and the recent addtion at Rita Blitt Art Gallery. This is a one-story building that will consist of a breezeway, lobby, recital space and back of house dressing rooms. Formerly known as Garvey Recital Hall As of October 25, 2023, this project has been released for general contractor bidding. Construction is expected to start February 2024. Completion is expected August 2025. *The bid list for this project may be incomplete.
