Brown V Board of Education National Historic Site The Request for Quotes will support the formation of a firm-fixed price contract for work to provide all labor, equipment, and material necessary to repair the auditorium parapet flashing at Brown V Board of Education National Historic Site. Contractors must review the solicitation package and return the information requested not later than the specified date. LOCATION: Brown V Board of Education National Historic Site, 1515 SE Monroe St. Topeka, KS 66612-1143. MAGNITUDE: Less than $25,000.00 BONDS: Not required NAICS CODE: The associated NAICS code is 238160 with a size standard of $16.5 million. NOTICE: This project is set aside 100% for Small Business. SITE VISIT: A site visit is scheduled to begin at the Brown V Board of Education National Historic Site located at 1515 SE Monroe St, Topeka, KS on 22 June 2022 at 10:00 AM CDT. Contractors must contact Joseph Bac, joseph_bac@nps.gov, to RSVP for this site visit. QUESTIONS: All questions must be submitted to Joseph Bac at joseph_bac@nps.gov NLT 28 June, 2022. SCHEDULE: The Government anticipates that work will be completed in 67 calendar days, including submittal period and inclusive of weather days, with work tentatively starting on/about the end of July 2022. The final performance period start date is contingent on issuance of the Notice to Proceed. WAGE RATES: Construction Wage Rates apply and are included as part of this solicitation package. Certified payrolls will be required. Product/Service Code: Z2JA Product/Service Description: REPAIR OR ALTERATION OF MUSEUMS AND EXHIBITION BUILDINGS Delivery: 67 Days After Notice to Proceed Period of Performance: 07/15/2022 to 09/20/2022 Commencement, Prosecution, and Completion of Work. (APR 1984) The Contractor shall be required to (a) commence work under this contract within 10 calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the notice to proceed, (b) prosecute the work diligently, and (c) complete the entire work ready for use not later than 67 calendar days as directed by the Notice to Proceed unless a different completion date is negotiated and approved by modification to the contract. This performance period shall be all inclusive to include processing of submittals, lead time for materials, actual work, and cleanup of premises.
