The work includes installation of approximately 5,700 LF of trenchless cured in place pipe (CIPP) pipe liner for eight (8) inch gravity sanitary sewers, cleaning, video televising, and grouting of sanitary sewer mains. Sanitary laterals are to be televised and determined which are active and non active laterals, all active laterals are to receive installation of CIPP liner (up to two feet). Requirements for a 10% Bid Bond, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond, 10% Maintenance Bond and Contractor's Insurance are included in the Contract Documents. Each Bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instruction to Bidders. Lower Makefield Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to make such award as appears most advantageous to the Township. The Contract duration will 120 days beginning from Notice to Proceed through Substantial Completion. Unless extended in writing and signed by both parties. Required Work for this project consists of the video inspection and installation of Cured In Place Pipe Lining for approximately 5,700 LF of existing sanitary sewer mains and laterals located in Lower Makefield Township. The specific area of work is located at the Buck Creek Interceptor within the Morrisville Municipal Authority (MMA) Service Area and composed of eight inch (8") pipe size. The work includes, but may not be limited to; repair of existing sanitary sewer main using Cured In Place Pipe Lining; cleaning, televising and grouting of sanitary sewer mains and laterals; Sanitary laterals are to be televised and determined which are active and non active laterals, all active laterals are to receive installation of CIPP liner (up to two feet); traffic control; coordination with the Owner and users of the system during the course of the work
