Please note the following pertaining to the project budget: Schedule A (Town of Kenneth City) $ 562,922.50 Schedule B (Pinellas County) $ 561,392.50 All proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, bank draft, or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the base bid, made payable to the Town of Kenneth City. The deadline for the submission of questions is ten (10) days prior to the date of the opening of bids. This check, bank draft or bid bond shall guarantee that should the proposal be accepted, the bidder will, within ten (10) days after the acceptance of his proposal, enter into a contract with the Town of Kenneth City for services proposed to be performed and will at that time furnish performance and payment bonds each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract, made payable to the Town of Kenneth City, Florida, which bonds shall be adequate to guarantee the faithful performance of the contract. Bids may be withdrawn prior to the date of opening, but no bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of opening bids. A person of affiliate who has been placed on the convicted vendor list following a conviction for a public entity crime may not submit a proposal on a contract with a public entity crime, may not submit a proposal on a contract to provide any goods or services to a public entity, may not submit proposal on a contract with a public entity for the construction or repair of a public building or public work, may not submit proposals on leases of real property to a public entity, may not be awarded or perform work as a contractor, supplier, subcontractor or consultant under contract withany public entity, and may not transact business with any public entity in excess of the threshold amount provided in Section 287.017, for Category Two for a period of 36 months from the date of being placed on the convicted vendor list. The Town of Kenneth City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any technical defects, and to accept any proposal which the bidding authority believes to be in the best interest of the Town. All proposals submitted are subject to the Town ordinances.
