Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Dunedin, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The work generally consists of the following: Park improvements including demolition of the existing turf, hardscape, trees as shown on the plans, electrical relocations, site furnishing removal for storage and reuse, installation of tree protection barricades, erosion control protection and asphalt and curb removal as shown on plan, minor excavation and grading, drainage, site preparation for landscaping, landscaping and turf installation, irrigation modification, installation of colored concrete paving walks and new pavers, replacement of site furnishings per plan, installation of walls for mosaic artwork, and updated lighting per the plans. All contractor Requests For Information (RFI) must be submitted ten (10) days before the bid opening, to Chuck Ankney, CPPO, Purchasing Agent, at cankney@dunedinfl.net, prior to 2:00 p.m., local time. The City will not respond to RFIs submitted after that date. The City will process the requests and respond within a timely manner. The time allotted for this project is 90 calendar days, for substantial completion.
