Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Oakland, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a fire / police facility; for the construction of a fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Remodel Fire Station No. 16 located at 3600 13th Avenue. In general, the scope of work includes, but is not limited to, demolition of approximately 1,300 sf existing dormitory and restroom/shower areas; construction of new dormitories, retroom/shower, path of travel, parking re-striping, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other work shown in the plans and specifications. The building permit has been paid for by the City; all other required permits/approvals (MEP, PSL/EBMUD, etc.) shall be obtained by the contractor. The contractor shall be required to submit a satisfactory Waste Reduction and Recycling Plan, as part of the final step to the Building Permit plan check. Questions Due: Wednesday, December 9, 2020, by 12:00 PM by email to the Project Manager. It is the Contractor's responsibility to ensure that the email is received by the Project Manager. Any addendum that materially changes the bid invitation shall be issued no less than 72 hours before the bid opening, unless the bid opening is extended by said addendum. Base Bid License Required: Class B Contract Days: 150 calendar days Liquidated Damages: $1,500 per calendar day Bonds: 10% Bid Security; 100% Payment and Performance Bonds Oakland-certified Local Business Requirement: 50% minimum participation (excluding Specialty Items, if any.
