Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Janesville, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

As of January 4 the project is set to be awarded on January 11 2021.. C2020-19 Secondary Treatment Polymer Dosing System For furnishing all the labor, materials, equipment, and completing all work necessary for installing polymer and RE300 chemical dosing systems, a RE300 storage system, and an aeration mixing system. The project includes site work, yard piping, structural, architectural, process piping and equipment, plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical, and instrumentation and control. The above Public Work will be let to the lowest responsible bidder and must be performed in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contracts on file with the City Clerk. No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a certified check equal to 10 percent of the bid or a bid bond in equal amount, payable to the City as guaranty that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and performance bond within ten days from the date the lowest responsible bidders bid is accepted. In case the bidder fails to execute such contract and performance bond within the time set by the City, the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages. Complete bidding documents will be available on Wednesday November 18, 2020, at the City of Janesville through Electronically. Plan holder lists will be available at this link as well. 2015 Wisconsin Act 55 repeals the state prevailing wage law for local governments effective January 1, 2017. If applicable, Federal Davis Bacon wage rates are included in the Contract Documents, as well as on file in the City Clerks Office. Proof Of Responsibility forms in accordance with Section 66.0901(2) Wisconsin Statutes must be filed in the Engineering Division Office within 24 hours of apparent low bid if requested. Forms shall show successfully completed, similarly sized and scoped projects, equipment, and proven experience to perform the Contract. The City decision regarding qualifications shall be final. Said work shall be commenced by, and shall be entirely completed by, the dates set in the proposal for the specific work. The determination of the lowest responsible and best bid will be decided by the City Engineer, subject to review by the City Council. The Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 45 days after the actual date of the bid opening.
