Site work and paving for a civil project in Ocilla, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

For furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the installation of Leveling, Resurfacing and Drainage Improvements to Cherry Street (TIA); Leveling, and Resurfacing Improvement to West First Street, Pine Street, East Park Street, Hudson Street, and East First Street; Signage and Rumble Strip Improvements to Vo-Tech Road and North Oak Street; and Striping Improvements on SR 32/US 319/Irwin Avenue. All work is located within the City of Ocilla, Georgia and shall be financed with Transportation Investment Act (TIA) and 2019-2021 Local Maintenance Improvement Grant (LMIG) funds The Scope of Work Includes: -Leveling, Resurfacing and Drainage Improvements -Rumble Strips and Signage Improvements -Striping Improvements All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of the City of Ocilla in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work: such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded a Contract, will promptly enter into a Contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bonds as provided by the law and approved by the Attorney for the City of Ocilla. Performance Bond shall be equal to 100 Percent (100%) of the contract amount and Payment Bond shall be equal to 100 percent (100%) of the Contract amount The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to City of Ocilla, Georgia as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the Contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within (10) days after being notified that he has been awarded the Contract The Contractor shall be a current "Prequalified Contractor" with the Georgia Department of Transportation Office of Contract Administration. A copy of the Contractor's "Notice of Contractor Qualification" as issued by the Georgia Department of Transportation must be submitted with the bid. The Georgia Department of Transportation Standard Specifications, 2013 Edition, Supplemental Specifications, 2016 Edition, or any applicable Special Provisions, contained within this contract will be applicable to this project. All materials, workmanship, testing, etc. shall meet the Georgia Department of Transportation Specifications. The Owner reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive informalities, and to accept any Bid which in its opinion may be in the best interest of the Owner. The Owner has the right to add or to delete from the Contract once it has been awarded. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of the bids.
