Renovation of a multi-residential development in Ocilla, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 18-unit multi-residential development.
The Ocilla Housing Authority is requesting bids from qualified firms for Exterior Renovations at GA 168-1A Central Square (18 units and one maintenance building) located in Ocilla, GA. Invitation for Bids documents may be obtained from the Authority's Contact. Any firms interested in responding should attend a pre-proposal conference. To receive a full invitation for Bids, contact the Authority's Contact listed. Questions (including questions regarding bid requirements or how to complete forms) or requests for clarifications to the IFB or the terms of the IFB shall be submitted in writing no later than five (5) calendar days prior to the bid due date stated in this IFB to the Authority's Contact as follows: Mr. W. The following general work requirements apply to this scope of work: o Information contained in the description of work and specifications are provided forreference only and are not intended to document existing conditions. Bidders are responsible for verifying all existing conditions, measurements, dimensions, and other information and shall notify the Authority's contact of any discrepancies prior to the bid date. o CONTRACTORS ARE ADVISED THAT THE CONTRACT WILL REQUIRE THAT A DEDICATED SUPERINTENDENT BE ASSIGNED TO THE PROJECT AND MUST BE ON-SITE SUBSTANTIALLY ALL OF THE TIME AND MUST BE AVAILABLE BY CELLULAR TELEPHONE AT ALL TIMES. THE AUTHORITY AND THE CONSTRUCTION MANAGER MUST APPROVE THE SUPERINTENDENT. THE CONTRACTOR MUST NOTIFY THE CONSTRUCTION MANAGER A MINIMUM OF TEN (10) DAYS IN ADVANCEOF ANY CHANGE IN THE SUPERINTENDENT. THERE SHALL BE A MINIMUM OF THREE (3) DAYS OVERLAP FROM SUPERINTENDENT TO SUPERINTENDENT TO ENSURE CONSISTENCY IN WORK. IN THE EVENT THAT THE AUTHORITY'S ARCHITECT OR THECONSTRUCTION MANAGER DETERMINE THAT THE SUPERINTENDENT IS NOT ON THE WORK SITE AND REASONABLY AVAILABLE, THEY MAY ISSUE A VERBAL WORK STOP ORDER AND ALL PERSONNEL WILL BE REQUIRED TO LEAVE THE WORK SITE.
