Site work and paving for a civil project in Ocilla, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

For the installation of Street and Drainage Improvements to Fifth Street located within the City of Ocilla, Georgia and shall be financed with Transportation Investment Act (TIA). All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of the City of Ocilla in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work: such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded a Contract, will promptly enter into a Contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bonds as provided by the law and approved by the Attorney for the City of Ocilla. Performance Bond shall be equal to 100 Percent (100%) of the contract amount and Payment Bond shall be equal to 100 percent (100%) of the Contract amount. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to City of Ocilla, Georgia as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the Contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within (10) days after being notified that he has been awarded the Contract. All work on the project must be completed by within 180 consecutive calendar days of date of Notice to Proceed. The Contractor shall be a current "Prequalified Contractor" with the Georgia Department of Transportation Office of Contract Administration. A copy of the Contractor's "Notice of Contractor Qualification" as issued by the Georgia Department of Transportation must be submitted with the bid. The Georgia Department of Transportation Standard Specifications, 2021 Edition, Supplemental Specifications, or any applicable Special Provisions, contained within this contract will be applicable to this project. All materials, workmanship, testing, etc. shall meet the Georgia Department of Transportation Specifications. The Owner reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive informalities, and to accept any Bid which in its opinion may be in the best interest of the Owner. The Owner has the right to add or to delete from the Contract once it has been awarded. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of the bids.
