The Work for this project consists of, but is not limited to, the construction of approximately 1,200 linear feet (LF) of 12-inch ductile iron and C900 PVC forcemain (FM) from the connection location at the south east corner of the bridge which crosses over the C-13 canal at Inverrary Blvd. W, and routed west approximately 1,000 LF. Then the new FM will transition above ground and be routed north on an aerial canal crossing over concrete piles, then the new FM will transition back underground to the tie in location. This project also includes providing two insertion valves at both tie in locations, providing an air release valve, providing a 12" plug valve with restrained mechanical joint cap for future connections, associated excavation, trenching, backfill, compaction, restoration, asphalt repairs, the demolition and disposal of approximately 1,200 LF of existing 12-inch ductile iron FM and other associated work. All of which shall be constructed in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications, as specified in the Contract Documents. Work performed in the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) Right of Way (ROW) shall be performed in strict accordance with the conditions of the general permit. Dredging and disposal of dredged materials shall be performed as identified on the drawings. Riprap installation within the ROW shall be installed per SFWMD Standard Civil Details, Bank Stabilization Treatments, Drawing C10 which is attached as Appendix A. Specifications that pertain specifically to work within the ROW are noted in the Table of Contents. The Work is located at approximately the intersection of Inverrary Blvd. W and NW 30th Pl, located in the City of Sunrise, Broward County, and the State of Florida.
