Site work and new construction of a clubhouse / community center in Merrillville, Indiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a clubhouse / community center; and for site work for a clubhouse / community center.

This project shall comply with the Project Labor Agreement as negotiated with the Northwest Indiana Building Trades Council. Bids for the following trade packages are requested: Trade Package #29 - Excavation Trade Package #30 - Site Utilities Trade Package #31 - Concrete Trade Package #32 - General Trades Package Trade Package #33 - Carpentry/Drywall Trade Package #34 - Roofing and Sheet Metal Trade Package #35 - Painting Trade Package #36 - Flooring Trade Package #37 - Kitchen Equipment Trade Package #38 - HVAC and Temperature Controls Trade Package #39 - Plumbing Trade Package #40 - Electrical Bidders submitting proposals for more than one of the trade packages above, must submit separate proposals for each package. Refer to the INSTRUCTION to BIDDERS, for other details regarding the sealed bid proposals required. All trade packages will be awarded, and contracted with the Town of Merrillville, based on bids received from tier 1 bidders. Award of contracts will be in accordance with Indiana Public Bidding laws. All successful tier one bidders shall be required to provide 100% Performance and Payment Bonds. Bid Security - A Bid Bond (or a Cashier's Check or Certified Check) in the amount of ten (10) % of the amount of the Bid, must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Construction shall be in full accordance with the Bidding Documents. All Tier 1 bidders must complete and submit the questionnaire from Ordinance 16-18, An Ordinance to Establish Responsible Bidding Practices and Bid Submission Requirements for Public Works Projects. This submission is required prior to bid submission deadline and the Ordinance is included in the Project Manual. The Owner and the Construction Manager reserve their rights to accept or reject any bid (or combination of bids) and to waive any irregularities in bidding.
