Site work for a water / sewer project in Portsmouth, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Work under this Project consists of the installation of a new sewer force main to include approximately 1,200 LF of 6" HDPE DR11 installed by conventional methods, approximately 1,300 LF of 8" HDPE DR9 installed by HDD, and abandonment of the existing force main. This Project also consists of rehabilitation of the existing gravity sewer to include point repairs, descaling, lining of approximately 1,607 LF of pipe, and rehabilitation of 12 manholes. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. The Owner reserves the right to waive minor non-substantive informalities in the Bid, to reject any/or all Bids, to award any Bid in whole or in part and award the Bid considered to be in the best interest of the Owner. The Owner also reserves the right to negotiate with the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder should Bid exceed available funds. The M/WBE goal established for this project is 9%.
