Renovation of a civil project in Portsmouth, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The work under this Project consists of the furnishing materials and installation of approximately 1,800 linear feet of 24-inch IPS DR11 high density polyethylene (HDPE) and ductile iron sanitary sewer suction main and appurtenances generally parallel to Douglas Avenue. The work also includes replacement of 18-IN and 16-IN suction mains and valves located at the Douglas Avenue Pump Station. Site restoration (paving, curb and gutter, sidewalk and driveway replacement) is included in the project. Minority-Owned, Woman-Owned, and Small Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation. The Owner reserves the right to waive minor non-substantive informalities in the Bid, to reject any/or all Bids, to award any Bid in whole or in part and award the Bid considered to be in the best interest of the Owner. The Owner also reserves the right to negotiate with the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder should Bid exceed available funds.
