Construction of a new elementary school that will serve the King George, Pleasant Hill and Princess Alexandra School communities. Through community, partner and stakeholder engagement a school design has been developed to provide an innovative and culturally inspired education environment for up to 400 pre-k to grade 8 students along with 74 new childcare spaces. The scope of the City Centre School project includes, but is not limited to the following work: - The project includes a new 3-story school with a total new construction area of 5,635m2. - The facility includes an integrated childcare facility, approximately 574m2. This is included in the gross area above. - The school site is located at 210 Avenue H, Saskatoon, SK with previous facility demolition complete Along with the construction will be site work that includes, but is not limited to, storm sewer upgrades, new paving, garbage enclosure, stairs, ramps, and entrances.
