Renovation of an educational facility in Kannapolis, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of February 22, 2021, an awarded subcontractor has been confirmed. Work is underway. The scope of work for this project is to replace the existing approximately 25,000 sq. ft. roof system completely. Payment and Performance Bonds will be waived for bids under $500,000. The minimum minority participation goal for this project is 10%. Shiel Sexton invites all small, minority and woman-owned contractors and suppliers to participate in bidding this project. All bidders will be required to seek Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) participation unless you are self performing the work by your own forces.
