In general, the work under this project consists of asphaltic milling, HMA pavement, culvert removal and replacement, new concrete curb and gutter, water main replacement, water services, sanitary and storm sewer rehabilitation, sidewalk replacement, decorative concrete sidewalk, pavement marking, restoration; and all incidental items necessary to complete the work as shown on the plans and included in the proposal and contract. The centerline length of the project is approximately 2.0-miles. This is a Local Roads Improvement Program (LRIP-Supplement) funded project. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond the amount of five (5) percent of the bid price, payable to Walworth County, Wisconsin, as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the proper contract documents within fifteen (15) days after notification of award of the contract. In case the successful bidder shall fail to execute such contract documents, the bid bond shall be forfeited to Walworth County as liquidated damages.
