Renovation of an educational facility in St George, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Removal and disposal of existing single-ply roofing membrane, insulation, cover board and vapor barrier down to existing roof deck. Protection of existing materials and building extremities, including interior & exterior. Install PVC single-ply roofing system, achieve 25-year min. warranty, roof insulation value R25 value, taper insulation & crickets & cover board. Install new metal edge flashings & counter flashings, except window sill flashing. Remove & install new roof hatch with safety guard rail. Adjust existing steel roof ladders to align rung with roof top membrane. Provide safety walkway, perimeter fencing & canopies as required by code prior to and thru construction activities. Modification of all curbs, including equipment & skylight. Curbs to meet DFCM minimum standards. Approximate 9,000 sq. ft. of roof area to be replaced.
