RFP to provide firm all-requirements power supply and related administrative services to Boston Community Choice Electricity municipal aggregation program. The City of Boston, Massachusetts (the "City"), on behalf of the Consumers of the Boston Community Choice Electricity Program (the "Program") and acting by and through its Commissioner of the Environment (the "Official"), hereby solicits proposals from qualified retail competitive suppliers ("Respondents" or "Suppliers") to provide all requirements power supply to the City's Program. The successful Respondent will supply electricity to all consumer accounts participating in the Program ("Participating Consumers") pursuant to an Electric Service Agreement ("ESA") with a supply term of not less than six months or more than 36 months. The contract term will commence on the first meter-read date following November 1, 2021 and will terminate no later than February 28, 2025. The Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities (the "DPU") approved the City's Program by its Order dated July 22, 2020, in D.P.U. 19-65. The Official reserves the right to waive any defects or informalities, to accept or reject any and all proposals, or any part or parts thereof, to negotiate with any qualified Supplier, or to cancel in part, or in its entirety, this RFP, or to take any other actions deemed necessary and appropriate if he determines it to be in the best interests of the City to do so.
