As of 04/19/2021 Construction is anticipated to begin in May and completed by end of June/early July, pending on scheduling coordination with the contractor. The Project includes furnishing all labor, materials and equipment to remove and replace the standing seam metal roof and skylights at Central Marin Sanitation Agency's Administration Building, including disposal of removed roof, skylights, underlayment and gutters; installation of new underlayment and flashing; installation of beams and trellis for new skylights; repair of dry-rot areas; and all associated work as shown in the plans and specifications for this Project. A valid Class B California contractor's license is required to bid on the Project. Without invalidating the Contract and without notice to sureties or insurers, the Owner through the Construction Manager, may at any time or from time to time, order additions, deletions, or revisions in the Work; these will be authorized by field directive, field order, or change order. A change order will not be issued for a field directive unless the Construction Manager concurs with an appeal by the Contractor that such field directive is a change in the scope of the Contract. The Contractor shall comply promptly with the requirements for all change orders, field orders, or field directives. The work involved in change orders shall be executed under the applicable conditions and requirements of the Contract Documents. If any field order causes an increase or decrease in the Contract Amount or an extension or shortening of the Contract Time, an equitable adjustment will be made by issuing a change order as indicated in Section 01 03 50, MODIFICATION PROCEDURES. By the acceptance of a change order, the Contractor waives any claim for additional time, not included in the change order, for the work covered by that change order. Additional or extra work performed by the Contractor without written authorization of a field order or change order will not entitle the Contractor to an increase in the Contract Amount or an extension of the Contract Time.
