Site work and paving for a civil project in Byron, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The work consists of the construction of 1530 feet of new concrete v-gutter, earth excavation, aggregate shoulder widening, erosion control, furnished excavation, storm sewer, HMA shoulders, restoration, and traffic control. Final grading and seeding shall be completed by the Contractor for all disturbed areas The project is located along the east side Kennedy Hill Road between IL Route 2 and Short Road. The construction of a new paved shoulder, storm sewer, and concrete v-gutter The Contractor shall give the Ogle County Highway Department written notice two (2) weeks prior to the start of construction. Work shall be completed no later than October 8, 2021. Kennedy Hill Road shall have at least one (1) lane open to traffic at all times. a new paved shoulder, storm sewer, and concrete v-gutter including necessary excavation, backfill, grading, restoration and traffic control. a total distance of 1815.00 feet, of which a distance of 1815.00 feet, ( 0.344 miles) are to be improved
