New Orleans Recreation Development Commission (NORDC) in conjunction with ProjectManagement through Capital Projects Administration (CPA) wishes to construct 2 new Softball fields within 2 open lots measuring approximately 2.3acres and 1.3 acres with Behrman Memorial Park located at 2529 General Meyer Avenue. The intended lots are located on General Meyer avenue bordered by De Armas Street, Florence Avenue and Deborah Street The City of New Orleans desires to obtain professional services for design and construction administration of new Softball Fields at Behrman Memorial Park. A DBE contract goal of 35 percent has been established for this RFQ. The respondent shall agree to use its best efforts, as determined by the DBE Compliance Officer to assure that all respondents comply with the factors set forth in the DBE Program, to meet the contract goal for DBE participation in the performance of this solicitation. The Softball Fields at Behrman Park project is funded through Bond funds. The successful consultant will be required to adhere to all associated funding requirements. The construction budget for this project is $200,000. This will be a FIXED FEE CONTRACT utilizing the Louisiana Office of Facility Planning & Control process for design fee calculation.
