Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Rancho Cucamonga, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a 12,176-square-foot fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.

In accordance with the provisions of Public Contract Code Section 21164, The Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District (RCFPD), will utilize a two-step process to pre-qualify, select, and potentially award a contract to a DBE to design and build Fire Station 178. This SOQ process is the first of two phases or steps to complete the Project. RCFPD will score and rank all submitted SOQs as indicated herein. Otherwise qualified DBEs with the three (3) highest scores will be eligible to advance to the second step in the process which is participation in the Request for Proposals (RFP) for the design-build of Fire Station 178. DBEs scoring below the three (3) highest scores will not be eligible to participate in the RFP process and will be so notified. RCFPD proposes to construct a new Fire Station 178. The site is at the corner of Town Center Drive and Terra Vista Parkway in the City of Rancho Cucamonga. The fire station site is adjacent to the Town Center Mall and across Town Center Drive from a new townhouse complex. Only those responses received from registered Vendors will be accepted. Responses must be submitted by the named Vendor that has downloaded the RFP; this information is indicated in the bid system and provides the ability to tabulate the responses in accordance to the named Vendors. Submitting a response under a Vendor name that does not appear to be on the Prospective Bidders list will be deemed as non-responsive and disqualify said submittal from the process. From the issuance date of this Solicitation until an award is issued, Vendors are not permitted to communicate with any City Staff or Officials regarding this solicitation, other than under the direction of the designated representatives of the City of Rancho Cucamonga as indicated in the solicitation.
