Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Haines Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Work included under this contract consists of all site work to suit project preparation, execution and completion. This includes demolition of existing structure Stony Run Road over Pine Creek (Bridge No. 5107-0035). It will be replaced with a composite prestressed concrete adjacent box beam bridge on cantilever concrete abutments with a 18'-0" curb to curb roadway width. Replacement at the structure will also include driving surface aggregate, rock lining, architectural surface treatment, and guiderails. Bidders for this project shall be listed as Pennsylvania Department of Transportation prequalified, as a Prime Contractor, in Category S1. Responsive Bidders must submit SDB and VBE Participation Submittals. A recommended TRAINING MEETING via a virtual presentation on Tuesday, February 23rd at 2 pm. Engineer's Estimate: $100,000 to $500,000.
