Requests for clarification are due Monday, November 15, 2021 1:00:00 PM [(UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)] For Fruitville Pike Improvement Project The Project includes the reconstruction of Fruitville Pike with milling and overlay, full depth pavement, Traffic Signals, drainage work, sanitary sewer, sidewalk, ADA ramps, bituminous curb, and all other related roadway construction. The bid will be for furnishing all labor, materials, supervision, and services associated with the Fruitville Pike Improvements Project. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bidder's bond, certified check or cashier's check, in favor of Penn Township in the amount of not less than 10% of the total amount of the bid. The successful bidder shall be bound to furnish and pay for a Performance Bond and a Labor & Material Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, on bond forms provided by Penn Township. All bidders must be PennDOT pre-qualified and must complete the non-collusion affidavit contained within the bidding and contract documents. This contract is in accordance with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, and the successful bidder shall pay no less than the PA Prevailing Wage Rates determined for the project as stated in the Contract documents. There is a zero percent (0%) requirement for MBE and/or WBE participation. Award of the Contract, if the contract is awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder, however Penn Township reserves the right to reject any and or all bids on any basis and to waive any informality in the bidding, as permitted by law. No bidder may withdraw a bid after the actual date of the opening thereof. Contractor agrees to furnish any and all labor, superintendence, materials, necessary equipment, and other utilities and facilities for, perform all work necessary for or incidental to, and perform all other obligations imposed by this Agreement, for the completion of all Work as specified or indicated in the Contract Documents.
