Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Ontario, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility.

Work Consists of: Installation of approved interim housing stockpiled portable buildings on existing basketball courts: (4) 24'x40' - A# 04-104169, A# 04-104310 (2) 48'x40' - A# 04-113892 Contract Time: 3 Months Construction Cost Estimate: $500,000 The District, at any time, by written order, may make Changes within the general scope of the Work under the Contract Documents or issue additional instructions, require additional Work or direct deletion of Work. The Contractor shall not proceed with any Change involving an increase or decrease in the Contract Price or the Contract Time without prior written authorization from the District. The foregoing notwithstanding, the Contractor shall promptly commence and diligently complete any Change to the Work subject to the District's written authorization issued pursuant to the preceding sentence; the Contractor shall not be relieved or excused from its prompt commencement and diligent completion of any Change subject to the District's written authorization by virtue of the absence or inability of the Contractor and the District to agree upon the extent of any adjustment to the Contract Time or the Contract Price on account of such Change. The issuance of a Change Order pursuant to this Article 9 in connection with any Change authorized by the District under this Article 9.1 shall not be deemed a condition precedent to Contractor's obligation to promptly commence and diligently complete any such Change authorized by the District hereunder. The District's right to make Changes shall not invalidate the Contract nor relieve the Contractor of any liability or other obligations under the Contract Documents. Changes to the Work depicted or described in the Drawings or the Specifications shall be subject to approval by the DSA. The District may make Changes to bring the Work or the Project into compliance with environmental requirements or standards established by state or federal statutes and regulations enacted after award of the Contract.
